Personal profile

Giaime Botti, PhD in Architecture from Politecnico di Torino, is Assistant Professor in Architecture & Built Environment at the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.
He was trained as architect and architectural historian, holding a Master’s degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano and a Master’s degree in Architectural History, Theory & Interpretation from London Metropolitan University. Giaime has been Assistant Professor at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, and has previously worked in the Netherlands and in China.

His research mainly focuses on architectural modernism, with a particular insight into Colombian and Latin American production.
