- Governmental venture capitalists in China and high-tech start-ups’ innovation and entrepreneurship. Funding support from NSFC China (No. 71772061)
- Government subsidy and firm performance in China’s transition economies
- Start-ups’ technological innovation and external financing in high-velocity environments
Personal profile
Dr. Jin Chen currently is an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Nottingham University Business School China. She got her PhD degree from National University of Singapore. Prior to joining UNNC, she was an Associate Professor in Management Science and Engineering in School of Business, East China University of Science and Technology. Her research focuses on technological innovation and entrepreneurship in emerging markets, especially on the interaction between public and private in the context of entrepreneurial financing. She has published more than 30 academic papers in this field, including Research Policy (Financial Time 50 journal) among others. She has led 4 national or provincial-level research projects, and has been awarded "Shanghai Pujiang Talent", "High-level Top Talent of Zhejiang Provincial 5246 Project", and "Ningbo Pan 3315 Innovation Talent".
