Jin Han hails from the city of Changsha, which is located in the province of Hunan. As of 2021, he holds a Ph.D. degree in Innovation Management from the University of Twente, the Netherlands. During the period of 2020-2022, he worked as an assistant professor at the Business School of the Hunan University of Technology, Zhuzhou. He is now an assistant professor at NUBS. During the last few years, his main research interests have been in the area of ecosystems, including business/innovation ecosystems and ecosystems for entrepreneurship. In particular, he is interested in exploring how entrepreneurs and new ventures from Chinese high-tech industrial contexts can benefit from ecosystem management and governance in order to create new innovations. Currently, the majority of his research projects relate to the integration of digital contexts and ecosystems, like the digital innovation ecosystems, the digital entrepreneurial ecosystems, the digital social entrepreneurship, as well as complex digital innovations. His recent ecosystem research has been published in the Journal of Business Research, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Industrial Marketing Management, 管理学报, 科技进步与对策."
