Dr. Liu joined Nottingham University Business School China as an Assistant Professor of Management Science and Analytics in September 2023. He obtained his Ph.D. from Politecnico di Milano and has been awarded the Marie Curie Fellowship by the European Union. Previously, he received a master degree in Industrial Engineering from Tsinghua University and had several years' experience in the industry.

His current research focuses on data-driven models and methodologies for decision-making under uncertainty.
