Dr. Rui Luo joined the Nottingham University Business School in Ningbo China as a Teaching Fellow in Economics in September 2021. Previously he worked as Teaching Fellow in Economics at the University of St Andrews. He has taught quantitative modules and economics modules ranging from principle to advanced levels. His research initially analyzes the wage inequality and its interrelation with economic growth and transition in the context of economic history. Recently he has switched to contemporary Macroeconomics topics: His current research employs Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium model to analyze the dynamics of Macroeconomics in response to the shock of governments’ policies and other external factors such as pandemic and technology.
