Yingying Shi joined Nottingham University Business School as a teaching fellow in September 2017. Her fields of interest are international trade and finance, economic growth and development. She is also interested in regional economics, urban development and sub-national debt issues. Prior to joining Nottingham University, she worked as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of International Economics at Nankai University. She also worked at the World Bank as a Junior Professional Associate and was a PhD intern at the International Monetary Fund.
