By 2024, the Lab will have a total area of ​​2,800 square meters with the equipment and software worth 24 million RMB, and the team will have 45+ researchers. With proper operation and management mechanism, the Lab will (1) build a digital port technology research and development platform, and form innovative technological achievements with international influence in key technologies such as international hub port supply chain innovation and financial services, computer vision and intelligent perception, port operation scheduling optimization, and port intelligent processes, (2) undertake 4 national  research projects at the provincial and ministerial level, (3) undertake more than 6 research projects at the provincial level. (4) apply for more than 8 invention patents with 4 authorized, (5) obtain 5 software copyrights, (6) publish more than 60 papers included in SCI/SSCI/EI, and (7) get the research achievement applied in 3 or more companies with the technology transfer income over 2 million RMB.
