N2 - The epidemic of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) has become a global threat to human life, health, and sustainable development, particularly in low- and middle-income countries [1]. In 2017, NCDs accounted for 73.4% of all deaths worldwide and 89.5% for China [2]. The most common NCDs, eg, cardiovascular diseases (CVD), cancer, chronic respiratory diseases, and diabetes, are preventable. Mental disorders have recently been added to the list of major NCDs.
