title = "Optimized Phase-Shift Control for dc-link Current Minimization in Automotive Multi Converter Applications",
abstract = "The increasing complexity of the embedded power electronics system for automotive applications has pushed engineers towards multiport converters to be able to integrate multiple energy sources into a single converter structure. This paper deals with the optimization of the dc link current for a specific multiport converter realized by an inverter and two dc-dc converters. A simplified model based on an interleaved boost converter and a voltage source inverter is used for the simulations. The selection of the optimal phase-shift between the PWM carriers of each converter allows for a marked decrease of the dc-link current, with obvious benefits in terms of capacitor current stress.",
