Abstract
In the induction motors (IM) drive system, the control performance is highly dependent on the accuracy of the parameters of IM. In order to obtain the parameters of IM accurately, a parameter identification method at standstill was proposed. The nonlinearity of the inverter was taken into account and compensated adaptively to improve the estimation precision. In addition, the influence due to the magnetic hysteresis phenomenon when calculating the mutual inductance was also considered. The mutual inductance was estimated at the rated magnetizing level by superimposing a direct current into the traditional single phase alternating current. The feasibility of the proposed scheme was verified by the experimental results which show a high estimation accuracy of induction motor parameters.
