    Abstract

This paper targets the power flow control of multi-terminal high voltage DC networks (MTDC) which is one of the major challenges in the development of MTDC technologies. The conventional methods of controlling direct voltage of MTDC networks suffered from serials of issues, such as lack of ability to steer the power flow, less expandability to scale up and poor dynamic responses. This paper is focused on the study of the power flow control inside MTDC networks for grid integration of offshore wind energy systems. The proposed method is tested in case studies. The superiority is verified.
