Abstract
In order to improve the calculation accuracy of the sensor-less temperature identification method, the thermal parameter perturbation theory is applied to analyze the electric submersible motor (ESM) in this paper. Through modeling the ESM, the relationship of the thermal parameters to changing the temperature of ESM are given. The stability of presented thermal system is validated by analyzing root locus of thermodynamics equations in the frequency domain. Simulation and experiment show that, the identification temperature of ESM is consistent with measured results.
