Abstract

Wuhan, a city steeped in history, is a symbol of China’s lasting legacy, capturing the spirit of resiliency and rejuvenation that has characterized the country’s progress over centuries (Gai et al., Sustainability 14:14,020, 2022). Wuhan, a city in central China, is significant for reasons that go well beyond its location (Wuhan Government, A summary of Wuhan’s development and reform in the past ten years <<数说武汉发展改革这十年 >>. In Changjiang Daily, 2022). It has long been a hub for cross-cultural interchange (Chen and Li, Sustainability 14:12,371, 2022), where the influences of many dynasties met to weave a rich tapestry of customs and inventions that have shaped the city and the surrounding area.
