Dr. Jinan Shao is an Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management at Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) China. He received his PhD degree from the Department of Management Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University. He also completed the Joint PhD Program Leading to Double Degrees in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and obtained the PhD degree from PolyU. Prior to that, he received his undergraduate degree from the Department of Logistics Management Engineering at Southeast University. His research interests include sustainable operations and supply chain management, supply chain finance, and logistics innovation. He has published papers in decent journals, including Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Transportation Research Part E, and International Journal of Production Economics, among others. He serves as the ad hoc reviewer for International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Logistics: Research and Applications, Journal of Supply Chain Management, and Transportation Research Part E. He is acting as the principal investigator for a NSFC project entitled "The Impact of Blockchain Technology on Firms’ Environmental and Economic Performance in the “Dual Carbon” Context: Based on the Perspective of Multiple Stakeholders"
